TLI Advisory Boards

Teaching & Learning Innovation is comprised of a team of faculty developers with decades of experience. However, in order to best provide support to our instructors, we understand the importance of listening to the perspectives of faculty, staff and graduate students when creating programs and resources.

UT CIRTL Advisory Board

The UT CIRTL (Center for the Integration of Research Teaching and Learning) Advisory Board is a vital component of the UT CIRTL team. As partners, the members of the board offer their unique knowledge, skills, and insights related to graduate students to aid UT CIRTL. In their particular role, the advisory board provides guidance to the Leadership and Implementation teams related to the development of supportive and effective professional development opportunities to prepare the next generation of faculty.

Scholarly Teaching Advisory Network

The Scholarly Teaching Advisory Network (STAN) will help guide TLI support for UT faculty members who want to conduct research on their teaching activities, and it will also support the process of incorporating grant-funded research into courses and curricula, in collaboration with the Office of Research, Innovation, and Economic Development, among other units.

Curriculum Support Advisory Board

The Curriculum Support Advisory Board brings together representatives across UT’s colleges to discuss curriculum development strategies and opportunities. The board seeks to support cross-unit collaboration in curriculum development as well as to gather input into the type of support colleges and departments need from TLI.
