Assistant Director for Experiential Learning
Virginia Stormer, Ph.D., serves as the Assistant Director for Experiential Learning. In her role she supports faculty in implementing experiential learning opportunities in their classroom and oversees the service learning initiative. She also works with the members of the High Impact Practices committee to coordinate efforts across campus to provide quality experiences for undergraduates.
Stormer earned her doctorate in English literature at the University of Tennessee, focusing on medieval and Renaissance drama. She holds a masters in Renaissance studies from the University of Alabama and a bachelor’s degree in English and history from the UNC-Chapel Hill.
