Connection & Collaboration
In the spring of 2021, leaders from each Southeastern Conference member institution realized that with stronger relationships between our universities in the areas of faculty development and teaching and learning support, we could do more to meet the needs of our stakeholders (faculty, graduate student instructors, and staff that teach). Knowing this, we made a shared decision to create a Teaching & Learning and Faculty Development Collaboration group that meets 2-3 times each semester to share experiences and expertise, as well as foster connections for support. Every SEC member university is represented, and our group’s purpose is listed below.
Purpose: The purpose of this group is to meet consistently in order to network and support the work of faculty development taking place across all SEC member institutions.
