Save the Date! New Faculty Teaching Institute 2023 is August 10th

Whether you’re beginning your teaching career or are an experienced instructor, our New Faculty Teaching Institute (NFTI) offers faculty new to UT the opportunity to explore effective approaches to elevate and enhance their teaching. We ask department leaders to encourage their new faculty to join us on Thursday, August 10th, for engaging conversations around teaching and learning, a introduction to campus partners, and the chance to get to know other new faculty members. Are you a graduate student or postdoctoral fellow interested in learning more or enhancing your teaching? Join us for “Facilitating Undergraduate Evidence-Based Learning (FUEL)” professional development seminar in Summer 2023. 

This 6-module professional development seminar introduces participants to evidence-based teaching and learning practices.

This year, Summer CIRTL F.U.E.L. will be offered in two ways: (1) online using Canvas or (2) in-person on UT campus. Click here for more information and to register by May 17th! 

Spring 2023 Workshops & Programs Schedule

Our Spring 2023 workshop and programs schedule is now officially available for review and registry! We are excited about opportunities such as our new “Reclaiming the Joy in Teaching” series, Faculty Appreciation Week luncheon, and our annual 2023 Innovative Teaching & Learning Conference.
