Teaching & Learning Innovation (TLI) offers a Certificate Curriculum comprising six evidence-based professional development programs. These certificates are designed to support flexible, in-depth learning for faculty, staff, graduate students, and postdoctoral researchers at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Course-Based Assessment

  • A six-module, asynchronous program focused on well-being pedagogy and the PERMA model.

UT FUEL Online Course (Asynchronous)

  • A self-paced introduction to evidence-based teaching practices for emerging educators.

UT CIRTL Teaching Certificate Course (Synchronous)

  • A six-module synchronous certificate exploring undergraduate teaching strategies.

How to Teach Online for Graduate Students (Synchronous)

  • A five-part synchronous series focused on online teaching and course design.
