Faculty Consultant for Inclusive Teaching
Yujie Huang, Ph.D. serves as the Faculty Consultant for Inclusive Teaching in Teaching & Learning Innovation. In this role, she will develop and implement the Inclusive Teaching Certificate Program for faculty at UT. Additionally, she provides consultations, individual & group training to faculty and graduate students on teaching practices in the college classroom to promote student learning through the establishment of an inclusive learning environment. She also supports efforts and professional development activities at UT related to inclusive teaching in higher education.
Yujie earned her Ph.D. in agricultural sciences education and communication from Purdue University. She also holds a master’s degree in regulatory science from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff. Her research interests include culturally responsive teaching and inclusive learner-centered teaching in higher education.
